In the last few years, I have been collaborating with Tami Thacker, the Director at the Veterans Resource Center at UC Riverside as we film many interviews at the VRC during 2025.
These are the videos we have created in the last few months.

This VHVtv segment is about Lisas Roybal, a U.S. Navy Nurse Corps (R) Veteran and actively involved in the AMVETS One Tour and actively participates in the AMVETS Post 77, Loma Linda, Ca.
She lives a life of serve for the Veteran Community.

We filmed this interview with Larock Benford, U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Major (R). He presents the Southwest Riverside County Marine Corps League Detachment 1057.

My name is Sheryl Alexa Shaffer and I produce the Veterans Helping Veterans TV for the MidPen Media Center in Palo Alto, CA.

I travel with VetArt, the Veterans Art Project, and film interviews with Veteran Artists through the VetArt Pop Up Art Cafe’s since October 2022 in California.
These are interviews with U.S. Military Veterans who tell us their story of discovering they had artistic abilities and how they over come military trauma through creativity.

Steve Dilley and Sheryl Shaffer

Sheryl Shaffer served in the Women's Army Corps from 1968 to 1971. She is retired from the CA Employment Development Department as a VetRep. She produces Veterans Helping Veterans TV at the MidPen Media Center in Palo Alto, CA. She completed the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Veterans Make Movies program and now does virtual interviews using video conferencing, i movie and i phone . Since October 2022, Sheryl travels with VetArt as a Documentarian and does interviews with Veteran Artists and uses her new iPhone 15 Pro to film.
