March is Women’s History Month and we honor Women Veterans by telling their stories.
March 1 – Kate O’Hare Palmer, U.S. Army Combat Nurse in the Vietnam War and is the National Chairwoman for Women Veterans in the Vietnam Veterans of America.

March 10 – VHVtv 1 minute clip is with Tonya Savice, U.S. Air Force veteran. She is a member of the VetArt collective and tells how creating art has helped her to heal from MST.
March 11 – VHVtv clip is “Sisters in Arms, Tell Your Stories!” with Lila Holley, a U.S. Army Veteran. She is the author of the
Camouflaged Sisters Book series, and she encourages Women Veterans to tell their stories! This episode was filmed at the Women Veterans Alliance Unconference in Monterey, CA in October 2019.
March 12 -VHVtv Clip is an interview with Helen Wong, the Commander of AMVETS CA Post 34 San Francisco. She discusses the importance of volunteering for a Veteran Service Organization like AMVETS.

March 13 – VHVtv Clip is with Susan J. Farese, a retired military nurse and an author and teaches creative expression through poetry.
March 14 – VHVtv 1 Minute clip is about Lucy Wong. She is also known as EV Lu and this clip is about electric vehicles. She is also an amazing artist and creates quilts and teaches craft making to others. This is our first Virtual Interview.
March 15 – Tami Thacker is the Veterans Services Co-ordinator at the Veterans Resource Center at the University of California Riverside.

March 17 – Christina Wilkinson is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and the Publisher of the AVOW Magazine and tells us what inspired her to create and publish these stories of Women Veterans. Written by Women Veterans for Women Veterans.

March 20 – VHVtv Clip is about Renee Hamilton-McNealy, a U.S. Army Reserves Sergeant Major.
March 21 – This clip is with Melissa Washington, the Founder of the Women Veterans Alliance and her outreach to Women Veterans through the WVA Unconferences.
March 22 – Sevrine Banks is a U.S. Army Veteran and tells us how she was the SFC, Sergeant First Class of the first U.S. Army Female Engagement Team in Afghanistan.

March 27 – Maureen Elias is a U.S. Army Veteran and is a Veterans Advocate.
March 28 – Christina Silva is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and is the radio host of “The Christina Silva Show.”
March 29 – Sheryl Shaffer served in the Women’s Army Corps from 1968 to 1971 and is a Vietnam Era Veteran. Sheryl is the Producer of Veterans Helping Veterans TV and a member of the Vet Art Collective.
March 30 – ShaDonna “Mo” McPhaul is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and the Founder of “Mo’s Heroes.”
March 31 – Tami Thacker is a U.S. Navy Veteran and the Veterans Services Co-Ordinator at UC Riverside. We are filming 1 half hour show at the Veterans Resource Center at UC Riverside each month beginning 2023.
