VHVtv Virtual Interviews 2020 - Interviews 2020.

VHVtv Virtual Interviews 2020

Since June 2020, these are the Veterans Helping Veterans TV, VHVtv, Virtual Interviews co-produced with Richard Gonzales, our first VHVtv-VRC UCR Intern. https://veterans.ucr.edu

VHVtv has gone through many changes since we began but none as dramatic as 2020 with the Covid 19 pandemic.
The Midpen Media Center in Palo Alto has been closed since March 13, 2020 but it has recently reopened for online video production courses and the HD studio has reopened July 2022 for in studio production.
Community producers create and provide their content virtually.

Veterans Helping Veterans TV is a Public, Educational and Government (PEG) access tv series and is available for free downloading to any Public, Educational and Government station in the nation via the Internet Archives and VHVtv is a community educational access tv network.

We are learning as we go and strive for constant improvement. So, instead of filming in a state of the art HD studio and working with 12 Volunteer Crew and 1 Studio Tech, we had to pivot and adapt to create our content with 2 people.

Starting June 2020, all videos are being created virtually with Richard Gonzales. He started as the first VRC Intern and is now the VHVtv Co-producer. Since March 2020, VHVtv is partnered with the Veterans Resource Center at the University of California Riverside and collaborate with Tamara Dee Thacker, the Veterans Coordinator. This year, we will add a new intern to help us with Social Media and Marketing.

Since June 2020, VHVtv Co Producer Richard Gonzales and I create Virtual Interviews by using video conferencing meetings, iPhone, digital photos and B roll, Dropbox, rough cut edits on the iMovie and Richard completes the edits using Premiere Pro.
