VetArt and the 1st Annual Veterans Art Day in Sonoma County

On September 23, VetArt had a Pop-Up Arts Arts Cafe in Petaluma in Sonoma County. VetArt and the Life On Earth Art Studio collaborated to present the 1st Veteran Art Day in Petaluma in Sonoma County.

We filmed in association with the Life on Earth Art Studio in Petaluma, CA.

Everyone had a great time at the VetArt Pop-Up Cafe in Petaluma in Sonoma County and
some of the Veteran Artists speak about how creating Art is helping them heal from military trauma.

Sheryl Shaffer served in the Women's Army Corps from 1968 to 1971. She is retired from the CA Employment Development Department as a VetRep. She produces Veterans Helping Veterans TV at the MidPen Media Center in Palo Alto, CA. She completed the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Veterans Make Movies program and now does virtual interviews using video conferencing, i movie and i phone .
